Chilliwack Search and Rescue
10 – 20 hours per month
We are seeking a motivated individual to join the volunteer Chilliwack Search and Rescue Team as a Resource Member. The qualified candidate will coordinate and write grant applications and demonstrate strong relationships and connections within the Chilliwack business community. This role offers the opportunity to volunteer and make a difference in our community.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Be able to volunteer between 10-20 hours each month
- Proficient at identifying appropriate grants and playing a key role in completing grant applications
- Demonstrate connections/relationships within the Chilliwack business community
- Adhere to the requirements from the CSAR Constitution and By-Laws
As the Resource Member for Fundraising, You Will:
- Report directly to and take direction from the CSAR Executive
- Provide a monthly update via email to the Executive
- Attend a monthly Executive meeting if requested
- Attend a minimum of 4 Month End Meetings per year
- Assist the Executive to identify future Corporate Sponsors
- Assist the Executive to identify major fundraising events/opportunities that require a minimal amount of time from our membership
- Have voting rights at month-end meetings and at the AGM
- Be included in any team organized social event
- Receive a CSAR team jacket
